I'm a big fan of the "dream of the 90s" and "put a bird on it" sketches from the first episode of season one. Haven't had time to watch TV though in the last six months. Too hard to try to get the baby to not look at the TV and she never sleeps so here I am culturally illiterate now about TV shows.
I don't have time to make an appointment with TV either. I just wait and rent the DVDs. Apparently in the second season they have a "dream of the 1890s" bit.
"What are you drinking?" "Oh, it's capa-choo-choo-choo-choo tea. It helps clear up my tear ducts and keeps my skin nice and dry. It takes like soot and hot water." "It looks like a still birth."
HAHA.
The women's bookstore characters are the best. AND, Carrie Brownstein is in a band called Wild Flag and they kickass. Definitely worth checking out too. She plays guitar and vocals. :)
